Harvard buildings forced to evacuate

Four of Harvard University’s buildings were forced to evacuate due to a bomb scare.

On Monday at 8:40 authorities received an email warning about the possibility of explosives hidden in either Server, Thayer, Emerson Halls or the Science Center. Students were taking finals when an alarm sounded signaling the evacuation. Police searched through the building but were unable to find any threat or sign of explosives. Students and faculty were allowed to return to the buildings later that afternoon and finals will continue. Most students say it was only a prank or way to get out of taking the infamous test.

“If I got kicked out of my dorm room, I would probably grab a blanket because I don’t want to be seen in my underwear,” sophomore Jaden Anderson said. “Plus it would be cold.”
