On the weekend of March 23, 2012, The Hunger Games movie got an estimated box office income of about $152,535,747. This contributed to the gross box office income of $407,999,255. Key actors and actresses such as Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutchison gained popularity immediately. People fell in love with the costumes, the characters, and the plot, and now they’re back for more.

Friday morning, hundreds of people will watch The Hunger Games sequel, Catching Fire. The second movie trailer alone has 5,081,900 hits on youtube. The soundtrack includes tracks by Coldplay, Of Monsters and Men, Imagine Dragons, The Lumineers and Lorde. The “mockingjay” covers magazines, posters and pamphlets.
